Digital scavenger hunt: Students explore the Regensburg district office
Regensburg (RL). On November 12, 2024, 27 students from Wenzenbach Middle School went on a digital exploration tour of the district office. District AdministratorTanya Schweigersays: "With our offer 'Join in! Discover your district office', young people can get to know our diverse range of tasks. During the scavenger hunt through the office, they stop in different departments and can discover us as a modern employer and possible training place for themselves."
With the tablet through the office
Divided into small groups, the students used the Actionbound app. Using the app, they got to the different stations in the district office. At each bound (= station), the employees of the relevant departments presented their areas of responsibility; The students were then able to solve the tasks set by the Actionbound. The following subject areas were involved in the campaign: culture, local history and monument preservation, equal opportunities office, health department, Regensburger Land media center, civil engineering, municipal supervision, district youth welfare office, financial administration, human resources administration and waste management.

Under the direction ofMichael Schebler, human resources office, andTheresa Eberlein, municipal youth work, six trainees from the district office developed and implemented the Actionsbounds. From young people for young people, this is how communication works!
