Sinzing honors companies for outstanding family friendliness!
The municipality of Sinzing registered the company on February 3, 2026 new media partners AG and Dickert Consulting Engineers GmbH congratulations on the “Career + Family” award. This honor took place as part of the “Training and Career + Family. Goes well with us!” initiative. and was awarded by the Regensburg District Office.
The ceremony was held in the modern surroundings of the TechCampus Wörth-Wiesent and attracted around 150 guests. A total of 79 companies were represented at the networking event, which honored the commitment to family-friendly working conditions and a future-oriented training culture. In this context, 109 applications were submitted, of which 57 were in the “Training” area and 52 in the “Career + Family” area.
Award and significance
In addition to a certificate, the winning companies received a digital seal to support their public relations work. This event underlined the relevance of promoting young talent and securing skilled workers as well as the compatibility of family and career. In her speech, District Administrator Tanja Schweiger emphasized the need for innovative training strategies and the creation of family-friendly jobs.
Furthermore, thematic network corners were set up in which the companies present exchanged practical approaches and experiences. Findings from these discussions showed how important it is to attract trainees from abroad, including through the example of young people from Kyrgyzstan and the recruitment of skilled workers through foreign students.
Sophie Keß from Familienpakt Bayern informed the participants about the development of family-friendly structures in companies, which is essential for sustainable development and a positive corporate culture. Such measures not only have an impact on employee satisfaction, but also on the long-term competitiveness of companies in the region.
The initiative and the associated honors show how important it is to work for a balance between work and family and how this contributes to strengthening the entire economic landscape.
