Public participation: development plan for Mühlbergstrasse in Viehhausen!

On September 22, 2025, there will be renewed public participation in the planning in the construction process for Mühlbergstrasse in Viehhausen. This is done in accordance with Section 4a Paragraph 3 i. V. m. § 3 paragraph 2 of the Building Code (BauGB). The first amendment to development plan No. 41 will now be presented to citizens for inspection and comment.

The documents available for discussion are available on the official website of the municipality of Sinzing. Those interested can access the relevant information directly via the economics and construction sections. Discussion of the plan content is an important part of ensuring that the public is informed early on about the goals and purposes of the planning, as both dejure.org and gesetze-im-internet.de note.

Participation process and information obligations

According to the current building law, the planning information and the expected effects must be comprehensively communicated. This is particularly true for children and young people, who are also viewed as part of the public. Different solutions to redesign or develop the area must be taken into account to allow for a wide range of opinions and suggestions.

The documents relating to the development plans must be published on the internet for at least 30 days. During this time, interested citizens can submit comments. Comments submitted on time must be examined and the results must be communicated accordingly. Comments submitted beyond this deadline may be disregarded, which underlines the importance of timely participation.

Access to the documents

The municipality is required to provide additional means of access to the planning documents, including public displays. It must also be ensured that those involved are informed electronically about the publication. The announcement on the website and the publication deadlines must be announced in accordance with local practice. This is supported by the legal requirements in dejure.org and gesetze-im-internet.de.

The current public participation marks a significant step in the planning process and offers all interested parties the opportunity to actively participate in the design of their surroundings.
