Investments and loans: Sinzing is planning big projects for 2025!
On December 1, 2025, the municipality of Sinzing will keep its citizens up to date on current developments and projects. One of the central measures is the planned borrowing of 5 million euros, of which 1.988 million euros have so far been used by BayernLabo, as sinzing.de reports. In addition, further loans amounting to 340,000 euros and 690,000 euros are secured with signed contracts.
Extensive investments are planned for 2025. One of the most important projects is the addition to the Viehhausen elementary school in order to meet the all-day requirement. The aim was to achieve a funding rate of at least 65%. Furthermore, all properties in the Klosterblick II construction project in Viehhausen were sold, while the development of a new development area on Seefeldstrasse with 28 plots at a cost of 2.261 million euros has begun.
Investments in education and infrastructure
A significant project is the new construction of the Viehhausen day care center, the total cost of which is around 7.17 million euros, of which around 2.8 million euros are to be funded. The almost completed roundabout on Bruckdorfer Straße, with a total cost of 3 million euros, also has a certain contribution from the municipality of around 625,000 euros.
In addition, the municipality is also planning several grants, including around 33,500 euros for maintenance work in the Eilsbrunn kindergarten and 75,000 euros for the renovation of the sanitary facilities in the St. Michael kindergarten in Sinzing. The extension to the Viehhausen fire station has now been completed and cost around 110,000 euros.
Financial outlook
The municipality's budget is estimated at around 21.4 million euros, with income tax revenue expected to be 6.96 million euros. Trade tax revenue will rise to around 3 million euros, compared to 2.9 million euros in 2024. The planned investments for 2025 amount to around 10.8 million euros, and the municipality's debts are expected to rise to around 10.731 million euros, which corresponds to a per capita debt of 1,365 euros.
The need for investment measures will continue to exist in the coming years, as the municipality admits. Important projects in the years 2025 to 2028 include, for example, the sales process for the building plots on Seefeldstrasse and the billing of development costs.
Population development and future projects
The population of Sinzing increased to 8,145 residents as of October 1, 2025. In terms of births, deaths and marriages, 20 births, 64 deaths and 30 marriages were recorded. The Sinzing elementary school will look after 308 students in 2025/2026.
Some future projects include the dismantling of the youth and culture center as well as the planned reinforcement of the superstructure of the district road KEH 25, which will be fully closed from April to June 2026. The organization of the voting slips will be rearranged from the 20th day before the election, at the latest from February 16, 2026.
