Family program 2026: Exciting events in Nittendorf!
Today, January 12, 2026, the Nittendorf family support center is offering a varied program for families in the Regensburg district. The events, which will take place from January to June 2026, cover a wide range of topics of interest to parents, children and loved ones. Registration for the individual events is required and can be done directly at the respective family base, as possible offers can be requested regularly.
In January, the program begins with the fairy tale “Frau Holle”, presented by the storyteller Olivier Machander on Friday, January 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for children ages 4 and up. Participation costs 7 euros and takes place at Brunnenstraße 3 in Nittendorf. A free parents’ evening entitled “Difficult Eaters” will be offered to parents of children aged 1 to 10 on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Here, educational advisor Renate Pielmeier is available to give participants advice. In addition, a baby massage course for parents with babies aged 0 to 6 months will start from Tuesday, January 13, 2026, which will include a total of six sessions. The cost of this course is 80 euros.
A look into the coming months
There will be a regular story time for children in the market library in February, which will be offered every two weeks from Thursday, February 5, 2026. The themed books are appropriate for the respective season and are aimed at kindergarten and school children in the 1st and 2nd grades. This event is also free of charge. In March, “Yoga for Mommies” is on the program, where Kristin Müller will offer women the opportunity to prepare for spring with a weekly yoga class from March 4, 2026. The cost is 2 euros per participant.
The offers in April include, among other things, a self-assertion course for preschool children with qualified social educator Eva-Maria Zimmerer. This course, which starts on Monday, April 13, 2026, is offered in four units and costs 50 euros. Parents can also take part in a free online parents’ evening on the topic “Anger, withdrawal, aggression?” take part, which is led by Jenny Fremdsdorfer.
Creative workshops in May and June
In May, a workshop entitled “Nature Education Spring Magic” will delight children aged 5 to 8 years. This will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 and costs 15 euros. The “Namaste-Mama Auszeit” event will be offered to mothers on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and participation costs 10 euros.
The program is rounded off in June with a visit to the adventure farm in Thalmassing for families and children aged 2 and over. The speaker Daniela Prinz-Köglmeier will offer participation for 7 euros on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There are also regular offers such as “Mama Fitness” and parent-child groups, which are suitable for parents with small children and take place at Brunnenstraße 3 in Nittendorf. There are also postnatal courses for women and a Catholic youth welfare advice center that offers free advice for parents and young people.
