Preparations for the local elections in Neutraubling on March 8, 2026 are in full swing. All citizens eligible to vote are asked to inform themselves in good time about the upcoming deadlines and options for postal voting. According to the information from stadt-neutraubling.de, election notifications will be delivered by February 15, 2026 at the latest.
Applying for a ballot paper for postal voting can be done in various ways. This is possible by appearing in person at the election office with the election notification, submitting an application online via the city of Neutraubling's citizen service portal, using the QR code on the election notification or submitting a written application with the election notification. Alternatively, an informal request can be submitted via email to wahlen@stadt-neutraubling.de.
Important deadlines and dates
In order to ensure that postal voting goes smoothly, there are numerous important dates that must be taken into account:
- 26. Januar 2026 bis 15. Februar 2026: Versand und Zustellung der Wahlbenachrichtigungen.
- 26. Januar 2026 bis 1. März 2026 (23:00 Uhr): Online-Beantragung der Wahlscheine.
- 16. Februar 2026 bis 6. März 2026 (15:00 Uhr): Persönliche Beantragung im Wahlamt.
- Ab 16. Februar 2026: Versand von Wahlscheinen mit den Briefwahlunterlagen.
Personal collection and shipping of postal voting documents will also start on February 16, 2026. If the shipping addresses differ, applications should be submitted in good time. In the event that another person would like to collect the documents, a power of attorney must be filled out on the back of the election notification.
