Neutraubling: City council approves spectacular construction projects!

On December 4, 2025, a public meeting of the Neutraubling city council took place, in which important decisions were made. The meeting began with the opening, the determination of the quorum and the approval of the last minutes of the meeting of November 20, 2025. At this meeting several motions were considered that are of considerable relevance for the future development of the city. The applications from KRONES AG and PE Haid GmbH for building permits each received community approval, which sends positive signals for the city's growth.

In particular, KRONES AG's application to expand the logistics building at Hartinger Straße 2 was approved. Furthermore, the new building “The town houses at Haidpark” on construction sites V and VI was decided, with one condition attached to the application: a concrete action plan to preserve the adjacent chestnut trees had to be submitted. This shows the city's commitment to taking ecological conditions into account in new building projects.

Further resolutions and finances

Another key point of the meeting was the approval of the annual financial report for 2024. The city council also approved the first supplementary budget for 2025, the statutes of which were issued. This is an indicator of the city's financial planning security in the coming year.

It was also decided to apply for the 2026 annual application for urban development funding. These funding measures are crucial for the financial support of urban development projects and enable municipalities to make structural improvements. The decision to extend the statutes on the formal definition of the redevelopment area, which was extended until December 31, 2027, is similarly relevant. According to the provisions of the Building Code, certain projects within a redevelopment area require the written approval of the municipality, which confirms the democratic involvement of citizens and their interests ( dejure.org ).

Urban development funding program and its importance

Federal urban development funding has been supporting sustainable urban development in Germany for more than 50 years. There is 790 million euros available for this in the 2024 federal budget. The funding programs aim to strengthen inner cities and town centers and to stabilize and upgrade socially disadvantaged neighborhoods. These subsidies are particularly relevant for municipalities like Neutraubling, which are undergoing transformation processes and must respond to the challenges of climate change ( bmwsb.bund.de ).

In 2024, the funding program will focus, among other things, on the “Living Centers”, “Social Cohesion” and “Growth and Sustainable Renewal” programs. In addition, in the context of urban development funding, attention is paid to climate-relevant measures, which are a prerequisite for eligibility.

The implementation of these decisions and the use of funding will have a direct impact on the infrastructural and social development of Neutraubling and sustainably improve the quality of life of its citizens.
