The city of Neutraubling has announced an important innovation in the area of building applications. From January 1, 2026, it will only be necessary to submit a building plan folder for written building applications. With this measure, the city administration wants to reduce the effort and modernize the entire process. This was implemented as part of an effort to reduce the city's environmental footprint by using less paper.
Another significant step towards digitalization was initiated in 2023. Building applications in the Regensburg district can now be submitted digitally via the BayernPortal, which significantly increases the efficiency and speed of the process. These developments are part of a broader strategy to design a more sustainable and user-friendly administrative system.
