On February 2, 2026, the municipality of Mötzing announced the upcoming meeting of the municipal council. This is scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the Sünching administrative community. The notice was signed by Mayor Reinhard Knott and contains a comprehensive agenda covering various important topics.
The public part of the meeting begins with the topic of the solar park of BEE Solarpark Schafhöfen GmbH & Co. KG. This will involve the financial participation of the municipality in accordance with Section 6 EEG 2023 as well as the financial participation of the citizens. Permitting the laying of cables in community streets and paths is also on the agenda.
Water law permit and school organization
Another important item on the agenda concerns an application for a limited water permit. BEE UW Schafhöfen GmbH & Co. KG from Hamburg has applied for the collection of rainwater from two water protection structures at the Schafhöfen substation on property FlNr. 1707 to be discharged into the groundwater. This could have far-reaching impacts on the local environment and is therefore being monitored with great attention.
The organization of middle schools will also be an issue. This takes place as part of a hearing process based on an application from the municipality of Mintraching. The confirmation of the fire brigade commanders and other matters also concern the members of the local council.
