Creative encounter: Workshop for painting and drawing in W1
An exciting workshop will take place on October 7th and 8th, 2024 at the W1 - Center for Young Culture in Weingasse 1, which will deal with the topics of painting and drawing. This two-part workshop provides a platform to explore the different techniques of visual art. Participants have the opportunity to create both natural representations and free, abstract art and learn how to combine these two approaches.
The Regensburg artist Barbara Muhr will lead the workshop and provide participants with valuable tips and suggestions. She will show how to effectively combine different artistic techniques, especially mixed techniques of painting and drawing. This opens up new perspectives and possibilities for creative expression.
Details about the workshop
The workshop will take place on both days from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the W1 studio, which is located on the second floor. Please note that access is not barrier-free. Registration is required to take part in the workshop. Interested parties should contact the address provided by email and state their age. The target group is young people between the ages of 14 and 26.
The participation fee is 5 euros, which must be paid in cash on site. Materials such as paints, brushes and canvases are provided by W1 so that participants can concentrate fully on their creative ideas.
For anyone interested in art and creative techniques, this workshop offers an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and network with like-minded people. The combination of instruction from an experienced artist and the opportunity to try out different techniques makes this workshop a special experience.
