Five years of midwife coordination: A milestone for Regensburg's families
Regensburg. The coordination office for midwifery care in the city and district of Regensburg is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. Since its founding in 2019, it has pursued the goal of strengthening the care provided by freelance midwives and making midwifery care possible for as many families and new parents in the city and district as possible. Another task is to organize and facilitate the work of freelance midwives and to network them with each other.
Successes of the coordination office
Over the past five years, the coordination office has been able to initiate numerous projects that promote collaboration between midwives and other health care providers and increase the quality of postnatal care. The positive response from families and professionals shows how important this facility is for the region.
