Volunteering in the Regensburg district: Together we shine!

On May 23, 2026, the 77th birthday of the Basic Law will be celebrated nationwide. On the occasion of this important anniversary, volunteer work is being recognized throughout Germany. The organizers in the Regensburg district are particularly active, calling on all clubs and volunteers to take part in the celebrations.

The actions are scheduled to take place from May 17th to 31st, 2026 and are a great opportunity to strengthen cohesion within the community. Citizens are invited to submit suggestions for events under the motto “Cohesion in the Regensburg district has faces!” stand. This includes participatory activities, celebrations or opportunities to get to know each other.

Support for volunteers

The initiators receive support from the German Foundation for Commitment and Volunteering, which offers funding of up to 500 euros. This offer is intended to enable creative and appealing events and to reward voluntary work.
