The local elections in Bavaria are just around the corner on January 30, 2026. Voters in the municipality of Bernhardswald have the opportunity to elect the new district administrator and the members of the district council on March 8, 2026. These elections are of great importance for local politics and the future development of the region.

The announcement of the approved nominations for the district election on March 8th was published on January 20th, 2026 and signed by Donko, the returning officer of the Regensburg district. The list of applicants includes five candidates who are standing for election.
