Free websites for clubs: Bavaria connects trainees and projects
Many clubs and institutions are faced with the challenge of creating an appealing internet presence. The Support Association for Regional Development offers support here. As part of the “Bayern Networked” project, municipalities, public institutions, clubs and smaller companies can have a free website created.
Details about the funding program
The websites are created by trainees and students. This allows them to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. The project partners benefit from the free creation, but have to bear the costs for the web address and storage space themselves.
The funding program offers the following advantages:
– Individual creation of the website according to the wishes of the project partner.
– A sample page for preview and discussion with a personal contact.
– Consideration of the applicable data protection guidelines.
– Compliance with accessibility standards.
– Independent maintenance of the website using a German-language editing system, without any programming knowledge.
– Telephone support until at least 2035 after project completion.
– If required, a free password-protected area for internal documents.
