Bernhardswald: Fiber optic expansion secures the digital future for everyone

The fiber optic expansion in Bernhardswald is picking up speed. Laber-Naab Infrastructure GmbH (LNI) receives support from funding from the federal government and the Free State of Bavaria. The community also contributes its own contribution. This will fully finance the expansion. In the coming weeks, the first owners of eligible buildings will receive a cover letter. "The municipal association within the LNI has decided that 100% of the production costs will be covered, which means there will be no financial burden on the homeowners. We are pleased to be able to further advance the fiber optic expansion with this decision and to give citizens important access to the digital future," explains the managing director of the LNI,René Meyer. The municipality of Bernhardswald actively supports the expansion as a shareholder of the LNI.

This is the only way you can fill out and submit the application online in order to be considered for expansion. On the LNI homepage, owners can check whether their property will receive a free fiber optic connection in the eligible expansion.
