Improved bus connections to Parsberg: Black zeros for Beratzhausen!

From Monday, after the carnival holidays, the rail replacement service to and from Parsberg will be significantly improved. This was decided after intensive consultation with all stakeholders involved. The improvements are particularly important for the municipalities of Beratzhausen and Mausheim.

A new direct bus will leave at 7:18 a.m. from the Volksfestplatz to the Parsberg school center. This bus starts empty in Beratzhausen before serving Marktstrasse and Mausheim. This is intended to optimize the connection to the school center and simplify the use of the bus system.

Optimized processes and better tracking

The changes also include more stable operations, ensured by better understanding of routes by bus drivers and optimized buffer times. In addition, more reliable bus tracking will be introduced, which better indicates delays. However, passengers must still expect possible delays due to external influences.

There are also adjustments for the return journeys from Parsberg. The departure times will be set later and the journeys will be staggered in order to better manage boarding and avoid so-called “stranding”. These measures are part of an extensive effort to switch several thousand passengers from the train to a bus system.

New timetables and thanks

The new timetables will be uploaded to the train app by Friday. In this context, special thanks go to the Bavarian Transport Association, MdL Patrick Großmann, RVV, as well as the parents and bus drivers for their support and valuable feedback. These measures are a step towards improved mobility in the region.
