New parking regulations around the church: safety in focus

The city administration has responded to several requests from citizens and provided information about the new parking regulations around the church. This regulation will bring with it some changes, mainly concerning safety and accessibility.

Specifically, the fire department access east of the “Café Kirchabeck” will be reorganized. This access is crucial in order to be able to react quickly in an emergency. In addition, the area behind the church will in future only be accessible to wheelchair users, which will improve accessibility in this area.

Details about parking regulations

Compared to the previous regulation, the “paved, direct enclosure” around the church will be changed. The new regulations aim to take both design and safety aspects into account. A key reason for these adjustments is to ensure unhindered access for the fire department, which is crucial in an emergency.

Despite these changes, parking on the state highway to go to church or buy rolls remains possible as long as the remaining road width allows this. This means that citizens will continue to have the opportunity to park near the church in the future without endangering safety.

The implementation of this new regulation is planned for spring. The city administration asks for the understanding and support of citizens during this transition phase.

Matthias Beer, the first mayor, emphasizes the importance of these measures for safety and accessibility in the community.
