New traffic plan: Changes to the road closure in Aufhausen

Road construction work in Aufhausen is picking up speed and is bringing with it some changes. From October 17, 2024, state road 2146 between Gansbach and the entrance to Aufhausen will be reopened to traffic. This is welcome news for many residents and visitors who rely on the road.

The full closure, which lasts until October 16, 2024, affects the route between Gansbach and the end of Aufhausen. During this time, access to the Edeka market will only be possible from Aufhausen. However, from Thursday the situation will become more complicated as the state road will be completely closed in the area of the road divider at Auto Hawthorn.

Important information about rerouting

For residents and visitors to the Edeka market and the children's home, this means that from October 17, 2024 they can only access them via Gansbach. Large-scale detour signage will remain in place to guide road users. However, residents who live nearby can still access the facilities via Pfakofen and Gansbach. Notices will be posted on site to clarify the situation.

Access from Aufhausen to the Edeka market and children's home is only possible via the footpath and cycle path. This could be challenging for some visitors as they may have to travel longer distances. For the time being, residents on the street “Auf der Leiten” and at Auto Weißdorn can only drive from Aufhausen.

The construction work on State Road 2146 is part of a comprehensive renovation that is scheduled to last until the end of November. The section between the road divider at the entrance to Aufhausen and the junction “Am Hirtacker” will be closed during this time. The diversion leads from Sünching via Triftlfing, Langenerling, Hagelstadt and Pfakofen, which means a change for many road users.

The Regensburg State Building Authority has announced that everyone involved is doing their best to keep the disruption to road users as low as possible. However, we ask for your understanding of the unavoidable restrictions, especially on the diversion routes. Changes may occur at any time due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
