Letzauer theater group explores the medieval splendor of Rothenburg

The Letzauer theater group recently went on an exciting trip to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The group started early in the morning, at 6:30 a.m., stopping for breakfast along the way, where participants were able to enjoy a selection of sweet and savory snacks. This break provided a welcome opportunity to recharge and share the anticipation of the day ahead.

When they arrived in Rothenburg, the participants were welcomed by city guides who led them through the city's picturesque streets. During the tour, members of the theater group learned a lot about the fascinating history of the city, which is known for its well-preserved medieval old town. The tours were informative and offered a deep insight into the cultural treasures that Rothenburg has to offer.

Visit to the Christmas Museum

After lunch together, a visit to the Christmas Museum was on the agenda. The museum, run by Käthe Wohlfahrt, is open all year round and puts visitors in a festive mood. Here the participants were able to discover the different facets of the Christmas season and be inspired by the lovingly designed exhibition.

Afterwards, the members of the theater group had free time to explore the city on their own. Popular stops were the crime museum, the chocolate factory and the climb to the town hall tower and the city wall. These attractions provided a mix of education and entertainment to round out the day.

At around 6 p.m. the group started the return journey. A special thank you goes to the organizers of the excursion, Rita Zahn, Stephanie Schubert and Günter Horn, who ensured that the day ran smoothly and entertainingly.
