On Thursday, November 7th, 2024, a special event will take place in the banquet halls of the Residenz in Neumarkt from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The founder of “Grandmas for Future” and chairwoman of the “Living in Harmony with Nature” association. V.,Cordula Weimann, comes from Leipzig.

Cordula Weimann will present her personal motivation and commitment. She quotes from her new book. “We are currently foregoing a healthier, more livable, greener and more humane earth because we are stuck on the linear, money-oriented worldview instead of finally arriving at a connection with everything, especially nature.” This belief drives her.
The “Grandmas for Future” movement was founded in 2019 and is now active nationwide. It was even honored by UNESCO. The organization wants to draw attention to the dangers of climate change. It shows how important harmony with nature is. “Humanity can only survive in harmony with nature and on the basis of love, respect and fair compensation.”
There will be a moderated discussion as part of the event. The audience is involved. It's about how you can tap into sources of strength and develop moments of strength. The aim is to maintain the commitment to a more sustainable world.
The city of Neumarkt i.d.OPf. organizes the evening in cooperation with the Evangelisches Bildungswerk Neumarkt-Altdorf-Hersbruck, the Catholic adult education district of Neumarkt, the Fair Kultur Café e.V. and the senior citizens' advisory board of the city of Neumarkt. Entry is free. Donations for the work of the association “Living in Harmony with Nature e.V.” are welcome.
