New village house in Leutenbach: A place for community and safety

After almost exactly a year of construction, the new village house with fire station in Leutenbach was inaugurated. The official handover takes place in the presence of over 150 guests. mayorPeter Meieremphasizes: “It is not only a gem in the center of the village, but also a sustainable investment for decades.”

Commitment of the village community

After the last inn in town closed, the village community became active. Plans are being drawn up for a multi-purpose building with a fire station, which is located next to the playground and sports field. Tree felling and the dismantling of some play equipment herald the construction work.Peter Meierhighlights the great commitment of the entire village. Over 4,000 hours of volunteer work go into the project. Without this commitment the realization would not have been possible.

He is pleased that the entire construction process went off without any accidents. The village house friends are already meeting for their first breakfast in the new building.

Significance for the village community

When planning the multi-purpose building, everything was considered, from the central meeting point for citizens to the parking space for the fire department.
