Spring seminar of the youth representatives: Commitment to the future
The spring seminar of the district's youth representatives recently took place in Lauterhofen, and it was a very special event. For the first time, the youth representatives worked together with the Amberg-Sulzbach district, which provided a breath of fresh air and new perspectives. The event offered a platform to discuss important issues in family and youth policy and to exchange ideas in various workshops.
The participants, including the youth representatives from Berngau – Marion Behrends, Stefan Meyer and Sebastian Schrafl – had the opportunity to reflect on their role and shed light on the challenges associated with their work. Luisa Hofmann, who is responsible for municipal youth work in the Neumarkt district office, took the opportunity to honor some long-standing youth representatives for their commitment. Particularly noteworthy is Stefan Meyer from Mittelricht, who has been on the Berngau municipal council since 2008 and is actively involved in youth work.
Honors and commitment
Stefan Meyer was honored for his many years of work as a youth representative. In his role, among other things, he took care of the youth meeting and was significantly involved in the planning and implementation of the holiday program. He is also a member of the Berngau Generation Network working group, where he advocates for the interests of young people. Luisa Hofmann thanked him and the other honorees and acknowledged their tireless commitment to young people.
The event was not only an opportunity for further training, but also a sign of appreciation for the work of the youth representatives. It is important that such meetings take place to promote exchange and strengthen cooperation between the districts. The youth representatives play a crucial role in shaping a positive future for the youth in the region.
