New parents' council in Weiding: Committed planning for 2024/2025
The kindergarten in Weiding has ushered in a new era, and with a lot of enthusiasm. The new representatives were elected at the most recent parent council meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere. Manuela Lindenberg will now lead the affairs of the parents' council as first chairwoman, while Eva-Maria Paul will act as her deputy. The election went without any complications, which visibly pleased kindergarten director Susanne Weber. She also welcomed Mayor Daniel Paul, who praised the importance of parents' volunteer work.
“It is impressive to see how much time and energy parents invest in looking after and supporting our children,” said Paul in his speech. He emphasized that the children's smiling faces were the best reward for the parents' efforts. After the election, the new committee immediately started planning for the coming year. The first big date will be the St. Martin's Festival on November 11th, which offers a nice opportunity to strengthen the community.
Planned events and activities
The new team has already lined up a number of exciting events. This year, Santa Claus will visit the Weidinger after-school groups individually, which will certainly bring a lot of joy to the children. A special highlight will be the first Christmas, which marks the end of 2024. Instead of a traditional summer festival, the committee is planning a rally in the spring, which promises an exciting experience for everyone involved.
In addition, other activities such as a “Special Person Day”, an “ambulance visit” and a large photo session in the garden are planned for the coming year. Weber was particularly pleased that two fathers were also actively involved in the committee this year. This shows that parents' involvement is diverse and all voices are heard.
The election brought the following results: Manuela Lindenberg as first chairwoman, Eva-Maria Paul as second chairwoman, Kristin Liepelt as first cashier, Nadine Breu as second cashier, Florian Schweiger as first secretary, Armin Günther as second secretary and Monika Nachreiner as auditor. With this new line-up, the Weiding kindergarten is well positioned to shape the coming year with fresh enthusiasm and lots of creative ideas.
