Parent-child group Weiding: A new start for the little ones

In Weiding there is a breath of fresh air in the parent-child group that has established itself in the old school. On September 1st, not only did the new year of care for the kindergarten children and the newly opened daycare begin, but the popular parent-child group was also able to welcome numerous new faces. This weekly gathering provides an excellent opportunity for the youngest members of the community to play and learn in a caring environment.

The parent-child group, which has been run by the municipality of Weiding for 25 years, has gained a permanent place in the community. Every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. parents and their children meet in the newly renovated rooms of the old school on Bahnhofstrasse. Not only is there play, but social interaction is also encouraged, which is of great importance for the development of children.

Commitment and support

A particular highlight recently has been the generous support through donations, which has enabled the group to purchase new furniture. These new purchases help ensure that children can play in an attractive and functional environment. Those responsible for the group, led by Eva-Maria Paul, are enthusiastic about the positive response and commitment of the parents, who are actively involved in organizing the meetings.

The parent-child group is not only a place to play, but also a space for exchange and support between parents. Experiences can be shared and friendships made here, which for many people is a valuable enrichment in everyday life. The group can be reached by phone at 09977/941139 and anyone interested is welcome to drop by and become part of this vibrant community.
