Wind power in Regensburg: Citizen participation in regional planning started

An important process to adapt the regional plan is currently being carried out in Falkenstein, focusing on wind energy. The Regensburg Regional Planning Association has taken the initiative to determine areas that are suitable for the use of wind power in Region 11 Regensburg. This region includes the districts of Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, Regensburg and Cham as well as the city of Regensburg itself.

Interested citizens have the opportunity to find out about the planned changes and give their opinions. The deadline for written comments is October 4, 2024.
