Johann Reilein: A farewell to decades of cemetery care in Bechhofen

Johann Reilein is going into his well-deserved retirement. For reasons of age, he has no longer carried out any digging work at the municipal cemetery in Bechhofen since August of this year. The market town would like to thank him for his excellent service over many years.

New grave excavation by funeral homes

A local funeral home is now taking care of the upcoming grave excavation. In the future, this will be done purely mechanically. In this way, the market community is reacting to the changing conditions and the need for more efficient solutions.

Changes in the cemetery area

Due to the necessary space requirements and to reduce the increasingly costly maintenance effort, some hedges in the interior of the cemetery that are too large must be removed. Many gravestones have now become overgrown to the point of being unrecognizable due to excessive hedge growth. This grievance should now be remedied piecemeal.
