On January 28, 2026, the municipality of Illschwang announced important news regarding environmental measures in the Neuöd V industrial area. The water law permit, which was granted to discharge rainwater into the groundwater, is issued by the Amberg-Sulzbach district office. The legal basis for this approval is based on Section 15 of the Water Resources Act and Article 16 of the Bavarian Water Act.
