On January 26, 2026, Maria Ertl and Manfred Enders celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. The couple looks back on a life journey together that has spanned 50 years. The two met as teenagers in a Nuremberg discotheque, where their love sparked. The wedding took place in Hahnbach in 1976.

In the five decades of their marriage, the couple has raised three children: Michael, born in 1979, Melanie, born in 1981, and Marlies, born in 1983. Manfred Enders, born in 1955, worked for many years in Quelle's IT data center in Nuremberg-Fürth and also worked as a cameraman at OTV. In addition to his professional career, he is actively involved in club life. He is a member of Knappnesia Sulzbach-Rosenberg and was made an honorary senator for his services. He also received the BDK Order of Merit from the State Association of East Bavarian Carnival Societies.

Maria Enders, also born in 1955, made a name for herself as a co-founder of parent-child groups in Hahnbach. She worked as a teacher and housekeeper in an Amberg business family until she retired. Her commitment to children and families reflects her caring and reliable nature.
