On February 19, 2026, the eagerly awaited children's carnival organized by the Hahnbach parent-child group took place at the Rouherer inn in Süß. The day was characterized by a colorful hustle and bustle and an exuberant atmosphere, which was further enhanced by the high number of visitors, especially many children in imaginative costumes. The event attracted numerous families and offered a varied program that delighted both young and old guests. A special highlight was the soap bubble machine, which, together with the candy rain, made children's eyes shine. The young guests were also able to have fun with various games such as stop dancing, grabbing pretzels, the journey to Jerusalem and the egg run. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the games as well as consolation prizes for all children. The afternoon culminated in a long polonaise and the coveted mask award.

Excellent costumes and shows

The winners of the costume award ceremony included the confetti girl, the sandman and an astronaut. The adults were also able to look forward to a mask award, where snack baskets were given away as prizes. The children's guard from Seugast also had a performance, which thrilled those present with their guard dance and show dance. Applause and encores were the reward for the talented dancers.

Physical well-being was also taken care of: a cake buffet offered numerous delicacies for young and old, which rounded off the relaxed atmosphere. The organizers Monika Dietrich and Bianka Mattner were amazed at the general satisfaction of the visitors and emphasized that the Hahnbach Catholic Women's Association and the Hahnbach Cultural Committee also made a significant contribution to the successful event.
