Celebrate the future: Aichach invites you to the first futur fair on September 29th!

After the challenges of the floods four months ago, which affected many in the region, a sign of hope is now being given. The festival, playground and exhibition area will open on September 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event is aimed at all ages and interests, from environmental enthusiasts to creative minds passionate about mobility and democracy.

The “future fair” will be a celebration of positive developments in the district. Visitors can look forward to delicious food, rousing music and innovative projects presented by committed citizens. It is an opportunity to strengthen community and celebrate the diversity of ideas sprouting in the region.

Opening speech and keynote speech

The mayor of Aichach, Klaus Habermann, will officially open the event at 10:45 a.m. In addition, Dr. Hubert Weiger, the honorary chairman of BUND Nature Conservation Bavaria e.V., will give a keynote speech. Its theme, “Collective local action, more necessary than ever,” will highlight the importance of local engagement and collaboration.

This event is organized by Forum Zukunft and takes place in the city garden of Aichach. This is the first “Yes Market for Sustainability”, which will be held this year under the new format “futur fair – Yes Market for the Future”. The organizers have set themselves the goal of establishing similar events in other cities such as Friedberg or Mering.

The “futur fair” is supported by various partners, including the city of Aichach, the Blumenthal Castle Community, the Federal Nature Conservation Association and many local organic farmers. The entire organization is done on a voluntary basis, which makes the community initiative even more remarkable.

Entry to the event on September 29th is free for everyone. The organizers invite citizens to actively participate, be it by visiting with family, sharing the invitation on social networks or even volunteering at the event.
