Pipe network flushing in the region: Important information for residents
The municipality has published an important notice for residents in several locations. The water supply association for the Adelburg Group plans to flush pipe networks in the coming days. This measure serves to remove deposits in the drinking water pipes and is intended to ensure water quality in the affected areas.
The affected places are Baindlkirch, Rettenbach, Hörmannsberg, Glon, Sirchenried and Zillenberg. The rinses are divided into three sections:
Scheduled flushing appointments
- Hörmannsberg und Glon: Dienstag, 03. September 2024, von 8.00 Uhr bis 17.00 Uhr.
- Sirchenried, Zillenberg und Rettenbach: Mittwoch, 04. September 2024, von 8.00 Uhr bis 15.00 Uhr.
- Baindlkirch: Donnerstag, 05. September 2024, von 8.00 Uhr bis 16.00 Uhr.
Residents are asked to show understanding for possible disruptions to the water supply. During flushing, there may be a brief lack of water, cloudiness or air in the pipes. To avoid problems, all drinking water tapping points should remain closed during this time. It is recommended that the main shut-off valve on the water meter be closed to prevent dissolved substances from entering house connections or clogging filters.
It is also advisable to stock up on enough drinking water in advance. After flushing, the water filters in households should be checked and cleaned. To ensure that work runs smoothly, hydrants and their access points should be kept clear.
The municipality asks residents to also inform their fellow residents and to offer support, especially to older or needy people in the neighborhood. Please note that no liability can be accepted for any consequential damage.
If you have any questions, please contact the municipality on 08208/95789-0. The measure is part of efforts to ensure the high quality of drinking water, which is considered the number 1 foodstuff. The municipality would like to thank the citizens for their understanding and hopes that the flushing will go smoothly.
