Big meeting: Senior newspaper for Mering – ideas and exchange on February 4th!
An interesting meeting will take place in Mering on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The venue is in space, behind the Weltladen, at Augsburger Straße 3, 86415 Mering. The aim of this meeting is to exchange ideas about the possibility of creating a senior citizens' newsletter for the community. The call to participate is aimed primarily at seniors, but is also open to other interested parties.
The meeting will be led by Dr. Alexander Jungmann, the neighborhood manager, Christine Maier, the senior representative, and Werner Zegowitz from the citizens' network. They invite all interested citizens to actively participate in the development of the senior citizens' newspaper and to contribute their ideas. In addition to suggestions for participation in the paper, the topics of the meeting also include the design of the content, scope and frequency of publication.
Social gathering
To enrich the atmosphere this evening, cold drinks, tea and coffee are available for a small fee. This is not only intended to promote exchange, but also to create a sociable environment in which everyone present can feel comfortable.
The senior newspaper could be an important source of information for the older generation and help strengthen the community. We therefore aim for active participation in the meeting. The organizers are convinced that every contribution is valuable and contributes significantly to the development of a successful paper.
