Shape the future: Citizens' dialogue Heimatdialog.Bayern starts!

The Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Homeland has launched an exciting initiative known as “Heimatdialog.Bayern”. This platform aims to promote exchange between citizens and those responsible in politics and administration. It's about clarifying central questions that are important for social cohesion. Citizens are invited to share their opinions and ideas in order to find solutions to the challenges of the future together.

An important aspect of the homeland dialogue is communication. The organizers want to find out what is important in the interaction between the different actors in order to achieve a better understanding. Questions like “How can we keep our Bavarian culture and tradition alive?” are at the center of the discussions. Demographic change, which presents society with new challenges, is also discussed. It is crucial that citizens actively participate in these conversations to contribute their perspectives.

Regional citizen dialogues and digital participation

Citizens have the opportunity to take part in four regional dialogues taking place in different cities. These events are open to anyone interested and offer a platform to speak directly with those responsible. The dates are as follows:

• 1. Oktober 2024: Stadthalle Memmingen, Platz der Deutschen Einheit 1, 87700 Memmingen, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr
• 12. November 2024: Harmoniesäle Bamberg, Schillerplatz 7, 96047 Bamberg, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr
• 20. Februar 2025: Stadtsäle Bernlochner Landshut, Ländtorplatz 2-5, 84028 Landshut, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr
• 13. März 2025: marinaforum Regensburg, Johanna-Dachs-Straße 46, 93055 Regensburg, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr

For those who cannot attend in person, there is also the option to participate digitally. Citizens can contribute their ideas and suggestions via an online survey and a digital dialogue. Registration for the events is online at heimatdialog.bayern/participate or by phone at 089 2306-3127.

This initiative provides a valuable opportunity to hear citizens' voices and work together towards a strong and connected society. The Heimatdialog.Bayern is a step in the right direction to actively address the challenges of the future and strengthen Bavarian identity.
