Christmas market 2024: Festive anticipation in Weiden's old town

Christmas market 2024 brings a Christmas atmosphere to the old town. Festively decorated stands await visitors from November 28th to December 23rd. These are located from the Upper to the Lower Market. The offering is diverse and leaves nothing to be desired.

Traditional mulled wine, Feuerzangenbowle and non-alcoholic punch are available. Hot chocolate and sweet treats such as cotton candy, gingerbread and roasted almonds are also on offer. If you're slightly hungry, there are lángos, bratwursts, crepes and churros. Guests can find the perfect gift for their loved ones at the goods stands. Younger visitors can also look forward to an artificial ice rink and a children's carousel.

Music and entertainment

A varied music program on two stages ensures a good atmosphere. Other events accompany the market and offer entertainment for all age groups.

Opening by the mayor

The ceremonial opening of the Christmas market will take place on Thursday, November 28th, at 5 p.m. MayorJens Meyerwill hold the opening on the steps of the Old Town Hall.
