New citizens' tour in Tirschenreuth: Discover the city's history!
The city of Tirschenreuth invites all new citizens to an exciting city tour that begins on September 21st at 2 p.m. The meeting point for the participants is the Schmeller monument on the market square. This event is a great opportunity to get to know the city better and learn more about its history.
The tour is led by the experienced tour guide Christina Zapf and lasts about two hours. During the tour, participants will gain interesting insights into the city's past. These include stories about the historic Fischhof, the city's most famous son, Johann Andreas Schmeller, and the tradition of Zoigl beer, which is highly valued in the region.
Invitation to participate
The city administration emphasizes that not only new residents, but also all other interested parties are cordially invited to take part in the tour. For non-new residents there is a fee of 5 euros, which must be paid to the tour guide before the tour begins. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about local educational and cultural institutions as well as the clubs and companies in Tirschenreuth.
