Fascination with crime fiction: Guido Buettgens inspires in the city library

An exciting reading recently took place in the city library, which made the hearts of crime fans beat faster. Despite the warm late summer days, over 30 literature enthusiasts gathered to listen to the author Guido Buettgens reading from his latest work “Champagne Grave”. The head of the library, Christine Henrich, was pleased with the lively participation and the great interest in regional crime stories, which made the event a complete success.

Before Buettgens delved into the reading, he gave those present a personal insight into his world. The author from Feldafing explained that his drive to create something lasting motivated him to write novels alongside his work in the advertising industry. “Champagne Grave” is the third part of his trilogy that began with “Champagne Blood” and “Champagne Death”. He emphasized that this book was special to him because he revised and heavily shortened his first manuscript to refine the story.

Captivating reading and book signing

After his introductory lecture, Buettgens read exciting passages from his new crime novel. His lively and gripping narrative style immediately captivated the audience and allowed them to experience the dark events surrounding the Andechs monastery up close. The atmosphere was electric and the audience seemed captivated by the plot and characters.

After the reading, guests had the opportunity to purchase a copy of the crime novel at the book table in the Rode library. Many took the opportunity to have the book signed, which gave the event a personal touch. The combination of captivating literature and direct contact with the author made this evening an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
