Next Sunday, September 29, 2024, the city of Mitterteich will be the venue for the Michaelmas market, which will be accompanied by a Sunday open for shopping. This event promises to offer a lot of hustle and bustle around the church square, where numerous traders present their wares.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of offerings, ranging from plants to handmade basketry to homemade treats. Sweet cravings are also catered for, as a selection of sweets and grilled food is on offer. There is a carousel available for the little guests, which provides additional fun.
Opening times and attractions
The shops in the city and in the industrial area open their doors from 1 p.m., giving visitors the opportunity to shop to their heart's content. At the same time, the opening of the Fish Adventure Week will take place in Kleinsterz, which begins at 10 a.m. with a church service.
To make your journey easier, the Bimmenbahn will run free of charge every 30 minutes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The stops are strategically located: Unterer Marktplatz, Birkigt, roundabout towards Kleinsterz, Malzer Landtechnik and back to Unterer Marktplatz.
