Färberbrücke in Mitterteich: Repair of damaged areas from September 9th
There will soon be an important construction site in Mitterteich that will affect motorists and residents. From Monday, September 9th, 2024, up to and including Tuesday morning, September 10th, 2024, the Amberg-Sulzbach State Building Authority will be carrying out repairs to damaged areas at the “Färberbrücke” on State Road 2169. This work is necessary to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the bridge.
During the renovation work, the leading streets “Martin-Zehender-Straße” and “Wiesauer Straße” will be completely closed. This means that drivers will have to use alternative routes to reach their destinations during this time. The diversion takes place via federal highway 299 and the local roads “Tirschenreuther Straße”, “Bachstraße” and “Vorstadt” in both directions.
Traffic disruptions and diversions
The Amberg-Sulzbach State Building Authority has asked road users to use the diversion routes mentioned during the construction period and to avoid the construction site in order to avoid possible delays. The authority understands the inconvenience that the closures may cause and appeals to road users to be patient.
Gerhard Kederer, construction director of the State Building Authority, is available for further information. He can be contacted on (0961) 63141-350 or by email at gerhard.kederer@stbaas.bayern.de. The authority is aiming to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimize disruption to residents and road users.
