On Saturday, October 5th, 2024, a very special festival will take place in the picturesque Mühlenhof in Mähring that brings young and old together. The Großkonreuther Jugendblasmusik e. V. and the district management of the market town of Mähring cordially invite everyone to take part in this cross-generational autumn festival. The event starts at 3:00 p.m. and promises a colorful program for the whole family.
At the beginning of the festival, a seniors' afternoon is offered, which is specifically intended for the older generations. Here seniors can exchange ideas and enjoy each other's company in a relaxed atmosphere. For younger visitors there is an exciting children's program that provides lots of fun and exercise with a bouncy castle. Things get musical from 3:30 p.m. when the talented young groups from the Großkonreuth brass band present their skills. The young musicians will certainly create a good atmosphere with their performances.
Treats and musical entertainment
Of course, physical well-being is not neglected either. The organizers have prepared a selection of delicacies for the guests. From fragrant coffee and freshly baked cakes to hearty snacks, there is something for every taste. This means visitors can enjoy the musical performances to the fullest without being hungry.
From 7:00 p.m. the mood is raised again when the regular band and the alphorn group provide musical highlights. The sounds of the brass music will certainly encourage many to dance and sing along. Entry to this festive event is free, although donations are welcome to support the event.
