In October 2024, aspiring anglers will have the chance to prepare for the state fishing test. The Upper Franconian Fishing Center (FZO) is the largest provider of such courses in northern Bavaria and the surrounding areas. The course, which takes place over just three weekends, offers a compact way to acquire a state fishing license.
The course begins on Saturday, October 12, 2024, and will be held in the “Späth – Schötz” inn in Schwandorf, Kreith district. The address is Tränkstraße 2. Classes are offered all day on three consecutive weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. The course ends on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Details about the course
Participants who successfully complete the course are entitled to take part in every state fishing test online. This is an important requirement for anyone who wants to fish in Bavaria, as a fishing license is required by law.
Registering for the preparatory course is easy and can be done via the Upper Franconia Fishing Center website. Anyone interested from the Schwandorf region and the districts of Neumarkt, Amberg-Sulzbach, Kelheim, Regensburg, Cham and Neustadt an der Waldnaab can register there.
