On Sunday, October 27, 2024, a very special event will take place in the Christ Church: The Protestant Trombone Choir Schwarzenfeld will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a festive concert. At 5:00 p.m. the church will be filled with sounds that reflect the choir's long tradition and commitment.
The anniversary year began in June, when the district trombone choir of the Sulzbach-Rosenberg deanery was a guest. Together with the cheering choir, a summer serenade was performed in front of the Christ Church, which increased the anticipation of the big anniversary. Now, on Reformation Day, the next highlight is coming up: a concert that is being organized not only by the Schwarzenfeld trombone choir, but also by the Nabburg and Oberviechtach trombone choirs.

This concert is part of the Cultural Weeks 2024 under the motto MIT'NAND, which is supported by the Sparkasse in the Schwandorf district and the Bechtel private dairy. Such initiatives not only promote local culture, but also strengthen the sense of community in Schwarzenfeld.
