Public participation in changing the development plan in Schwandorf

The planning and environmental committee of the large district town of Schwandorf has taken an important step in urban development. On September 26, 2024, the committee approved the preliminary draft for the 1st amendment to the development and green space plan No. 69 “Bellstrasse”. This change affects the design and use of the area.

Public participation

The public has the opportunity to participate in this process. The preliminary design documents can be viewed on the city of Schwandorf's homepage from October 31, 2024 up to and including December 5, 2024. Interested citizens can access the information under “Business & Construction | Planning and Building Current”. In addition, the procedural documents are available in the town hall during normal opening hours. These can be found in the urban planning department in the west wing, ground floor level -1. Access is barrier-free via the main entrance to Spitalgarten 1 in Schwandorf.

Submit comments

During the publication period, citizens can submit comments on the goals and purposes of the planning. These statements should be sent electronically to the city administration. The email address for this is bauleitplanverfahren@schwandorf.de. Alternatively, the statements can also be submitted by post or orally for transcription.
