The city and businesses make the Christmas season something very special. In the run-up to Christmas, the town of Nittenau is enlivened with a special highlight: the lively Advent calendar. In close cooperation between the city administration and local businesses, the citizens of Nittenau can expect a new surprise every day from December 1st to 24th. The lively Advent calendar offers a colorful mix of competitions, discounts and events that take place at a different location in the city every day.

Diverse promotions and offers

The participating shops and cultural institutions symbolically open a “door” every day and invite you to stop by with special promotions. From exclusive discounts and festive tastings to musical performances and events for young and old - there is something for every taste. “With the lively Advent calendar, we want to make the anticipation of Christmas even more noticeable and at the same time strengthen the local economy,” explains First MayorBenjamin Boml. “By working together, we create a varied program that brings people together and makes December something very special,” adds the organizer and press spokeswomanAlexandra Oppitz. In addition to the activities in the shops, there are also numerous events in public spaces that round off the city's Advent program.

Where is the Advent calendar?

The lively Advent calendar can now be picked up free of charge in printed form from the participating stores: Alavu Vietnamese Restaurant, CreaDesign, Haflingerhof Doll, Brauhaus Nittenau, Sanitätshaus im Regental, Stangl Gardening and Landscaping, Eichinger Fruit Distillery, Fohringer Drinks Market, Das Brave Schneiderlein, Autohaus Lacher, Styling Club Oliver Tschernowsky and Werkraum Nittenau. The Advent calendar is also available at the tourist information office, in the Nittenau city library and in the town hall, while stocks last.
