A new chapter in citizen participation is being opened in Bavaria. With the “Heimatdialog.Bayern” project, the Ministry of Home Affairs has launched a platform that enables citizens to actively participate in shaping their homeland. The aim is to promote exchange between people and decision-makers in politics and to work together on solutions to the challenges facing society.
The local dialogue is aimed at all age groups and people from different regions of Bavaria. Regardless of whether you live in a city or in the country, everyone has the opportunity to contribute their ideas and suggestions. This happens in an open and respectful framework that facilitates dialogue between citizens and those responsible in the administration.
Diverse participation opportunities
The ministry has developed a number of participation formats that can be used both on site and digitally. These formats are designed to reach a wide audience and give people the opportunity to share their opinions and experiences. Through this survey, citizens can express their views on various topics and thus actively participate in shaping their community. The information collected is then used to plan future projects and initiatives that meet the needs of the population.
