Invitation to exciting events for seniors
The municipality of Wiesent and the Wörth-Wiesent parish community have organized a number of activities for seniors that are both entertaining and enriching. These events provide an excellent opportunity to make new friends and strengthen community.
One of the first events is a trip to Blaibach, which will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The departure is at 9:00 a.m. from the village square and the return is scheduled for around 4:00 p.m. For just 15 euros, participants can enjoy a tour of the Blaibach Concert Hall, followed by lunch at Lindner Bräu. After dinner, the program includes a stroll through the city of Bad Kötzing or a relaxing walk through the spa gardens.
Regular meetings and special events
Another highlight is the seniors' meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. in the Wiesent community center. These meetings provide a platform for seniors to interact and participate in various activities.
In addition, a traditional white sausage breakfast will be organized in the Wiesent parish hall on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. This event promises not only culinary delights, but also sociable hours with like-minded people.
A special event that should not be missed is the Seniors' Advent, which will also take place in the Wiesent parish hall on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Here the participants can experience the contemplative Advent season together and get in the mood for the upcoming holidays.
Registration and payment for the events takes place at the municipal administration. It is recommended that you register early to secure a spot and take part in these enriching experiences.
