Exciting competitions: District shooters show off their skills in Pielenhofen

Last Sunday, the 39th district championships in air rifle and air pistol shooting took place in the Distelhausen camping restaurant, Pielenhofen. The Schützengesellschaft 1907 Pielenhofen e.V. was the organizer this year. District Administrator Tanja Schweiger took over the patronage and welcomed the best shooters in the Regensburg district. She thanked the first rifle masterJohann Bleicherand its volunteers for their efforts.

High proportion of young people

District Administrator Tanja Schweiger was particularly pleased with the high proportion of young people. “148 children and young people demonstrated their skills here in Pielenhofen and demonstrated with utmost concentration and a good deal of ambition that youth work has a high priority in our shooting clubs,” said the district administrator.

Participation numbers and honors

MarksmanJohann Bleicherreported on 444 participants from 52 clubs. Following the competitions, the district shooting queens and kings were honored. The district cup was also awarded. The best shooters and teams received the district badge of honor “Shooting Champion”. The five best individual winners and the three best teams received a certificate.

The results of the 39th district championship in air rifle and air pistol shooting are varied. Male won in the student classJohannes Biersackwith 186.0 rings. The women in the student class sat downBabette Beierwith 194.3 rings. Male won in the youth classMichael Foxwith 202.0 rings.

The team competitions also showed strong performances. In the male/female student class, Gambachtal Fußenberg won with 552.9 rings. FSG Hemau secured the male/female youth class with 580.6 rings.

The shooters of the Almenrausch Diesenbach shooting club won the challenge cup with a total score of 1,563.8 points. G`mütlichkeit Luckenpaint e.V. came in second place with 1,624.5 shares.

Most involved clubs

The SG 1907 Pielenhofen e.V. provided 32 shooters. Almenrausch Diesenbach followed with 24. Almenrausch Grünthal, Jagabluat Irlbach and Tell Hainsacker each had 23 participants, while Gmütlichkeit Luckenpaint had 22 shooters.

The 2024/2025 district championships will be organized by the clubs themselves and supported by the district.
