Thalmassing Town Hall closes over the holidays – important information!

The municipal facilities are open at different times over the Christmas holidays and the New Year. The town hall in Thalmassing will be closed from December 24, 2025 to January 6, 2026. An exception is the electoral office, which can be reached on certain days. The election office's office hours are as follows:

• Montag, 29. Dezember 2025: 8 – 12 Uhr und 14 – 16 Uhr
• Dienstag, 30. Dezember 2025: 8 – 12 Uhr und 14 – 17 Uhr
• Freitag, 2. Januar 2026: 8 – 12 Uhr
• Montag, 5. Januar 2026: 8 – 12 Uhr und 14 – 16 Uhr

From Wednesday, January 7, 2026, regular opening hours will apply again. The recycling center will remain closed on December 24th and December 31st, 2025. In urgent cases, citizens can contact Mayor Raffael Parzefall by email or telephone.

Opening hours in Aalen

Special opening hours also apply in Aalen over the public holidays. The town hall and sub-town halls will be open at normal times on December 23, 2025, but will close from December 24 to 27 and December 31, 2025. Citizen services will reopen on December 30 and January 2 and 3, 2025.

The tourist information office is closed from December 24th to January 1st, 2025 and will reopen its doors from January 2nd, 2025. The city museums, such as the Limesmuseum, have limited opening hours: These are closed from December 23rd to 25th and from December 30th to January 1st. However, it will be open from December 26th to 29th, 2025 and from January 2nd, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Information from Rosenheim

In Rosenheim there is also information about the opening times of municipal facilities during the holidays. The City Hall will be closed from December 24, 2025 to January 4, 2026, with limited staffing on December 22 and 23 and January 5. Citizens are asked to reduce administrative visits to the bare essentials. Emergency services have been set up and are available in some offices, such as the Citizens' Registration Office and the Registry Office.

The city library in Rosenheim is open on December 23rd and 30th and January 2nd, while it is closed on public holidays. The municipal museum and the municipal gallery also have modified opening hours and are closed on public holidays.
