Payment reminder: Transfer wastewater fees by October 1st!

The third installment of the advance payment for the sewage fees in Sinzing is due on September 8, 2025. Payment must be received no later than October 1, 2025. The amount and details of the advance payment are recorded in the billing notice for the 2024 usage fees, dated February 21, 2025. Alternatively, a separate advance payment notice can be consulted, as reported by sinzing.de.

It is important to make the payment on time to avoid late payment penalties and reminder fees.

Late payment surcharges and reminder fees

In the event of late payment, late payment surcharges amount to 1% of the outstanding amount for each month or part thereof, as explained on bwb.de. The outstanding amount is rounded down to the nearest amount divisible by 50. An example makes the regulation clear: For an outstanding claim of 325.86 euros that was due on March 18th and was not paid by April 22nd, the late payment surcharge for two months amounts to a total of 6 euros.

In addition, late payment will result in reminder fees. These amount to 1% of the amount claimed and are rounded down to the full 10 euros, with a minimum of 5 euros and a maximum of 150 euros. It is important to note that there is no municipal discretion in charging these fees. The late payment surcharge is also levied automatically without the need for a separate notice.

SEPA direct debit and contact information

Participants in the SEPA direct debit scheme do not need to make a transfer as the amount is debited automatically. However, it must be ensured that the original SEPA direct debit mandate is available; Transmissions by fax or e-mail are not permitted, as also stated on sinzing.de.
