Winter service delayed: problems due to defective clearing vehicle!

The winter conditions are currently taking their toll in Regenstauf. How regenstauf.de reported that there are delays in winter service that are due to a defective clearing vehicle. This means that winter service will not be carried out between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.

The community is responding to the adverse circumstances by starting winter service from 4 a.m. During this time, the focus is initially on the important higher-level roads, such as connecting roads and main traffic routes. These roads take priority before clearing secondary roads, including secondary roads.

Obligation to clear and scatter

According to the Bavarian Roads and Paths Act, the municipality is only obliged to clear and scatter important and dangerous traffic routes. This means that some streets in the municipal area are not the responsibility of the municipal building department for maintenance, cleaning and traffic safety.

Those responsible emphasize that despite the current difficulties, everything is being done to ensure road safety for citizens. It is hoped that the defective clearing vehicle will be repaired as soon as possible so that winter service can be resumed to the usual extent as quickly as possible.

The community is asked to prepare for possible delays and to drive with particular caution in adverse conditions.
