Neutraubling: Citizen participation in municipal heat planning
The city of Neutraubling has taken a significant step towards a sustainable energy future. With the introduction of municipal heat planning, which is scheduled to begin in autumn, a new chapter in energy supply will be opened. This initiative is supported by the National Climate Initiative, which provides funding to facilitate implementation. A specialized office has already been selected to lead the planning and ensure that the needs of citizens are at the center.
A central element of this planning is the active involvement of citizens. The city will be divided into different districts where information events will take place. These events offer homeowners the opportunity to express their opinions and wishes before the plans are finalized. To ensure that citizens' concerns are heard, surveys are also planned to be carried out before the events.
